About
DJ BMT®Meet the man
Straight out of Nairobi, Musa — known to the world as DJ BMT — has grown from the heartbeat of East Africa into a globally recognized force in music. A true chameleon in the craft, he moves fluidly across genres, weaving together the infectious energy of urban, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, Afrobeats, and Amapiano with the deeper, underground textures of Afrotech, UK Grime, and Garage. Every set is an experience — high-energy, unpredictable, and impossible to stand still to. BMT doesn't just play music; he curates a journey, reading the room and reshaping it, one dancefloor at a time. As he continues to push the boundaries of what global sound can feel and look like, DJ BMT remains a defining voice in the new wave of African artists rewriting the rules of contemporary music worldwide.

What he plays
One DJ.
Six kinds of night.
A wedding is not a club and a launch is not a brunch. Same ear, different job — pick the one that matches your room and the conversation starts on WhatsApp.
- Main room, peak hour01
Club & Festival
Open-format club sets built to move — Afrobeats and Amapiano through hip-hop, dancehall, Afrotech, Grime and Garage. Residency-tested and festival-tested.
- Peak-hour and opening sets
- Festival stages
- Residencies and club nights
- On the decks and on the mic02
Weddings — DJ & MC
One person holding the whole night: the run of show, the introductions, the first dance and the floor after it. No handover between a DJ who cannot speak and an MC who cannot read a room.
- DJ and MC in one booking
- Ceremony, reception and after-party
- Run-of-show planned with you
- Launches, galas, activations03
Corporate & Brand
Product launches, company parties, brand activations and awards nights. Volume, language and energy pitched to the room rather than the club — and lifted when the room is ready.
- Launches and activations
- Galas, awards and year-end
- Conference and gala MC
- Day parties, pool, birthdays04
Private & Brunch
Brunch and day-party sets, pool sessions, birthdays and house parties. The Big Brunch tour by Singleton is exactly this format, taken on the road.
- Brunch and day parties
- Birthdays and house parties
- Pool and garden sessions
- Streamed, anywhere05
Virtual Parties
A full set streamed live to your guests wherever they are — Instagram Live, YouTube, Zoom or a private link for a company on three continents. Shout-outs, requests and a host on the mic.
- Live-streamed to any platform
- Private or public link
- Requests and shout-outs on the mic
- When the room plays itself06
Curation & Playlists
Programmed sound for spaces that run all day — a restaurant, a hotel floor, a retail room, a rooftop. Built by hour and by day so the room never plays the same mood twice.
- Venue sound programming
- By hour and by daypart
- Refreshed on a schedule
